Disability Worker Screening

To work or volunteer with adults or children with disabilities in Queensland, you may need a disability worker screening clearance.

If you currently hold a valid NDIS worker screening clearance issued in another state or territory in Australia, you do not need to reapply for an NDIS worker screening clearance in Queensland.

Check if you are eligible to apply before registering.

Important Update: Renewal Information for NDIS clearance holders

NDIS worker screening clearance holders are now eligible to renew their clearance cards. You can apply to renew your clearance up to 90 days before it expires.

To continue disability work without any interruptions, you must submit your valid renewal application before your existing clearance expires. Submitting your application on time ensures you can continue working while your application is being processed.

For more details about the renewal process, check out our helpful fact sheets:

If your clearance is due for renewal, login to the Worker Screening Portal to start your application today.
